Thibault Canis

Thibault advises French and international businesses and private clients on tax, business law and sports law. He joined the firm in January 2026.

His studies at Université Paris-Dauphine PSL, a dual bachelor's degree in Law, Economics and Management followed by a Master's degree (Master 2) in Business Law, enable him to handle matters with a strong legal and economic dimension. His multidisciplinary background, enriched by experience in Paris and international law firms, in the courts and as in-house counsel within a CAC 40 group, has allowed him to build a combined advisory and litigation practice, in tax as well as in business law.

In sports law, he completed the university diploma (DU) in Sports Law at Université Paris-Est Créteil and the certified programme of the École française du Barreau (French Bar School). A keen sports enthusiast, he closely follows football, motorsport and esports, sectors in which he has developed genuine first-hand knowledge. He supports sports agents and assists clubs, federations, associations and athletes with their legal and tax structuring, their development and their search for funding and partners.
